Introductory class

An introduction to throwing pottery on the potter's wheel.

Class length is approximately one hour and 30 minutes.

Never tried pottery before? This class is for you! During this lesson you will focus on centering the clay, compressing the bottoms of the pot and pulling up the wall to form a cylinder. Your ticket purchase is for the lesson & time to learn, and as a bonus you get to keep the pots you make when they are finished! There is no guarantee that you will be successful at creating a pot on the potters wheel, but we try our very best to help you through it.

All finished pieces will be ready for pickup approximately 10-12 weeks following your class (this does not include studio closures for summer and winter break or holidays). We will contact you when your pots are ready for pick up.

*Ages 16+ unless accompanied by a guardian
